Hi everybody!

I'm new on here, I read a lot about vft's but couldn't find an answer to my question!
A few weeks ago my girlfriend and I decided to get some plants for our new appartment.
We were in a gardening store when she saw these vft's and she absolutely wanted one.
So we bought one.. Off course at that time I knew little about them so I informed myself on the internet.

Now when we bought this vft it was flowering, I didn't know these had a much needed dormancy period.
I read most of the growers cut the stem off before it's too high but in our case the bud was already developing..
So my question to you guys is: what now? should I cut it off or should I allow it to flower and skip dormancy for one year?

As I stated in my introduction: we live in an appartment, no balcony or garden, so I'm growing indoors as I have no other options.

Thanks guys!

Hehe, this is happening to a lot of people this year! Cut it off, it most likely will not sprout a new plant, but it is worth trying.

Cut it off even with the flower almost coming out? there is some white peeping out of the buds already

Wow. I actually don't know if it makes a difference now. Someone else may answer, I am guessing that seed set will exhaust the plant more, but I am not sure.

Okay I will probably cut it off.
I was just wondering how bad it would be to skip one year of dormancy because other then flowering in the wrong season it's doing fine..
