Just got my first ceph from droseragemmae and I'm pretty excited. The pot is kind of small, but I figured I'd wait a week or 2 for it to get acclimated before I transfer it to a bigger pot. Should i wait longer than that to transfer it?

Nice plant! I see you have some "large" pitchers on there!

A couple of weeks should be fine. Once you see new growth in a couple weeks I'd feel comfortable putting it in a larger pot. What I would do is gentle message the sides of the pot to loosen up the soil around and then slowly remove the pot. I would not remove any of the previous soil as long as it looks good. I would place the soil and root ball into you larger pot and fill in the dirt around it. This way you don't disturb the roots and have less shock on your ceph. It should just continue growing like it never was touched. I've had good results from doing it that way. Good luck and great plant.

Nice Cephalotus, sean808! Looks very healthy... with good care and dampened sunlight starting in spring you'll have a stunner of a plant.

If you want to transplant it, do it now. Do not wait for it to come out of shock, and then transplant it, because it will cause more stress to the plant. Personally I would wait until late winter/ early spring to report, just as it is coming out of its rest period.

Looking good. Doesn't seem like it took long to get over the stress of shipping. Good growing.
