I take a lot of pictures of my plants, so I thought I'd share them with everyone, I hope that's ok ;) .
Here's a Paradisia(thanks pieguy452!) look at that red!

When I got my Mirror I accidently broke off a leaf with no rhizome attached. I thought, 'eh, what the hay' and put it on some LFSM and see what happens... well:

Oh dude, that's how my flower stalk looked at one point. You're going to have a ton of tiny traps.

(and apparently attachments don't carry over to quotes)

SkyClan Cat- It totally does! I'm just surprised that I got so many strikes with no rhizome! Can't wait for it to be ready to transplant.

It really is, I don't think that my camera does it justice. And thank you for the compliment!

Nice! I did the same thing w/ my DC XL when it arrived a couple months ago. A leaf had broken off about half way up in transit so I took that and the pulled off the rest of the bottom half and put them both in LFS. In the process the trap broke away at the petiole so I put that in too. All 3 pieces struck, even the trap itself!

I've got 7 flytraps flowering at the moment; three typicals, two Paradisia and two Justina Davis. I think I'm going to let only one Paradisia, one Justina Davis and the dormant kit flytrap flower since they are close to each other and they can cross pollinate(fingers crossed). Hoping to let nature take care of that.

Nice plants! Do you know when 'Mirror' starts showing its characteristics?

It doesn't seem to be seasonal or triggered by anything in particular. Mirror seems to make its "mirrored" traps when it wants to. Sometimes that's quite often, sometimes it won't have any mirrored traps!

Yeah, I haven't had the 'Mirror' for very long so I can't say for sure. What I do know is that during the growing season I'll be taking lots of pictures.

Does location determine the characteristics of plants? For example, a 'Mirror' grown in Texas has nothing but mirror traps while another 'Mirror' grown in Chicago has very little mirror-ing.

I'm sure that the amount and intensity of sunlight affect how a plant grows, even if it is the same cultivar, right?

That that I know of.

Yes, certainly. But how that affects when and how frequently mirrored traps form, I don't know.

Hey, I got my Mirror along with a Schuppenstiel 1, both were flowering. I cut the stalk off of the Mirror before I cut off the Schuppenstiels stalk.

The Schuppenstiel has resumed growth yet the Mirror hasn't put out any new leaves. The traps that it does have are responsive and one of them caught a bug. Are Mirrors just slow growers or could it be due to this years weird weather entering spring?

Here are some more random shots:
