I figured I'd start a thread to show pictures of how my fly traps are doing. Lukas, Maria and Beatrix are still recovering from being chewed up by my cats, who also un-potted Emil. Luckily, Emil is also recovering nicely. Mathias looks good, and Isabel really is taking off! i'm thinking I could have divided her more when she arrived with Mathias, because there are so many traps sprouting. I've been taking more precautions against my cats than ever before. My table is pretty much surrounded by popsicle sticks and sticky tape, and I move Alice (my only non-typical) onto my dresser every night. Alice is growing a flower stalk that I won't let flower but plan to let grow a bit more before cutting. I'd like to try some cloning.

Nice plants! Deff try and propagate that flower stalk and keep adding to the family!

Whoops! I forgot Arthur, my recent Lowe's rescue! He's in a different window than the others, but I'll move him soon.

I'm almost ready to cut Alice's flower stalk, but I'll wait a few more days. I think Isabel could have been divided more when I potted her- look at all that growth!

I just cut Alice's flower stalk. I hope I get something out of it! My cat attack victims, Lukas, Beatrix and Maria are recovering, although I'm a little worried about Maria. The new trap that's starting to grow has come up red. Is she too wet? I'm worried about root rot, as that's how I lost Gilbert.

The moss does look a bit on the wet side, especially for indoor growing, but I don't see any signs of rot yet on Maria.

Here's a few more pictures I took last night. Emil appears fully recovered from being uprooted by my cats, and is growing well. Alice is also looking good. Arthur, my Lowe's rescue, seems okay. And a picture of my setup, showing a few of the cat protections that so far are working.
