Wow, that's crazy. It's a pretty cool looking plant though.

My guess is it's rare. And just like people who aren't into CPs look at someone paying $500 for a flytrap as crazy, this high price seems crazy to us.

That's a crazy price for a plant! But I think parker summed up the situation quite well. Obviously there is a group of enthusiasts that know much more about the plant than we do and don't think it's crazy to pay so much for a plant.
