Thanks! I'll be sure to take pictures of it for everyone when it arrives :)

- Also Just thinking... to anyone who knows (I'm bad with hybrid stuff...), this plant is technically:

(Sarracenia Flava x Sarracenia Purpurea) x Sarracenia Purpurea - Right?

Here's the moment we've all been waiting for! Behold!

Superfast delivery, Wrapping was brilliant. And, as you can see, the plant is in VERY good condition!

(For those wondering, i'm removing the VFTs from that water tray soon, it's time for their watering session thats all :P )

That plant is hot :)

Catebae's are already pretty hardy, but that extra dash of purpurea makes them even more cold-hardy than standard catesbae's. I'm sure it will grow very well for you.

To your prior question about the naming convention, it's not "Sarracenia x Catesbaei x Purpurea".

It's exactly this:
Sarracenia x [x catesbaei x purpurea]

which equals

Sarracenia x [(flava x purpurea) x purpurea]

but it does also have a common hybrid name:

Sarracenia x melanorhoda

The above three names are all synonymous, but the most proper name for it is Sarracenia x melanorhoda.

Edited for clarity.

That is really a beautiful plant, I just got mine but it is not close to yours but one day I hope, they are a cross between S. Flava and Purple Pitcher or Purpurea, I think the hybrids that are crossed with purpurea are the coolest, great colors and shapes of pitchers and I like them most because they don't get really tall, these I hear get to be about a foot high which is good for me, enjoy it you made a terrific buy.
