I got it from Lowes for 10% off because I complained about the pitcher drying up :D I'm such a haggler. (sarcasm) I'm really not meaning I'd end up paying more for something.

For reference, the picture is taken from the same side. The new pitcher you can see growing in the center is the biggest pitcher on the bottom right with the really distinct red veins against the green hood.

Hegory, i would leave it as it is, they don't mind a bit of clumping.
JwBates, that Purpurea looks absolutley beautiful! The colour on it is amazing! You really should have seen my face when i saw it!

mine seems to be mainly red, though I wish it could be more purple, and the pitchers are pretty small, maybe tansplanting it would help... or it is just a younger plant. What potting medium do you have yours in?

mine is in mainly peat moss. maybe i should transplant it? how do you get yours to grow so fast?
