Looks like the rhizome rotted away. Probably kept it too wet.

lol i tried not to keep it wet.... its really weird the soil in my vigourous pot gets dry really fast while this jawses soil never dries and they both get the same amount of sun its weird lol

They may have different soil mixes, either way, that plant has definetly rotted.
