Hi everyone. So, I was at the garden centre today buying parsley and saw three sad looking carnivores on sale for a dollar each! I bought them as I felt for their plight , one is a fly trap and I'm not sure of the other two. So here they are: ImageImageImage
I have just got home and re potted in spag and hopefully they will comeback to life. They were being sold in coffee type plastic cups with no drainage! Shudder! If anyone can tell me what they Are I'd be indebted!

The flytrap's in bad shape, I couldn't say whether it will survive or not. The Sarracenia will certainly be fine and are definitely S. purpurea or possibly a hybrid with that species.

Flytrap should easily survive, I've seen a lot worse. Growth point looks intact and media was wet so the roots should be good. All it needs is some light and it should do great.

Cool , I've repotted the fly trap too and cut off the rotted bits, put it outside to acclimatise and have fingers crossed all of them will be ok! Sad to see them dying in a corner at the garden centre!

Did the flytrap make it? I had one that showed only one tiny green knob for a whole year, then the next year it came back perfectly normal. They're amazing little survivors!

Thanks smooter80. Wanted to do comparison and tracked down the original post! Hehe. Glad I helped the poor thing. I'd forgotten how terrible it looked when I first got it!
