I have had it for a short time and it is on the same watering schedule as my VFT and nepenthes, but it has changed forms beautifully!

please point out any shortcomings i missed on caring for it.

The bugs are springtails. They're harmless and actually helpful in two ways: they eat mold, and they also provide a food source for the Pinguiculas, especially small ones.
