My plant made it through the winter. It sprouted 5 leafs about 3 weeks ago, the leafs didn't really grow or form traps. Now all the leafs got mushy and turned black except for 1.

I let it freeze for one day at the start of winter, so, it didn't have any leafs all winter. I'm not sure if it was ready because it started growing a flower stalk right before then. I'm not sure if that matters or not.

Sounds like rot. The picture is dark but I zoomed in, is that LFS in really really bad shape? It looks too stringy to be peat. If not what is it?

I had to get the Mosser Lee kind, I can't find the better grow in my area. I re potted it in Febuary, it didn't look rotted then.

I see. That's definitely low quality. I would recommend you order some better grow or spagmoss from Amazon. I said rot because you mentioned it's all mushy and black. February was 2 months ago, plenty of time to rot unfortunately. Your best bet is repot into better moss if there is anything still white and firm on the rhizome. It will be a slow recovery.

It was mushy nothing, I don't know how it could have had leafs.

I said the same thing. My red dragon(1st pic) was sprouting a new leaf , then it started dying. (2nd pic) was days later.

Note: I was using Mosser Lee too, I'm a new grower...idk why they sell it.
