hi i have just brought a fly trap and it has what looks like a flower growing from the centre i have been told to cut it out is this right ?

Yeah, that's the best idea, as flowering really takes alot out of a Flytrap

I would cut it but many find it fun to try and grow from the stalk in peat. Sorry Live Sphagnum Moss is what works best.

Hmm yeah you can cut it and put it on some wet peat and many times plantlets come out!
