Has anyone seen the new death cubes at lowes?
They have the same box but its a plant or two in dry soil a pot, and instructions to kill it-- I mean to care for it

The plants weren't dormant and they were nearly dead.

Most of those plants really shouldn't be dormant, especially this late through the dormancy period. I would be willing to bet that every single one of those plants is recently out of the hardening phase from their gigantic tissue culture program.

As for the soil being dry, that's probably a function of whatever store is carrying them. Hopefully someone comes along with pure water and waters the poor plants!
