I was surprised recently when this strange cactus (suculent plant) that I have made a flower, since I recently had cut like half of its body because it grew down to almost the floor, so the little flower bud started to grow, and I thought it would open this week, but.. I was wrong! It continued to grow like crazy!!

I'm really excited to see what will it make!!

Well, if I could, still have not gotten the cable for the camera and have not checked the installed mod. for using it!

And prepare yourselves! I did not have any idea of what I would see, but here it is!

The biggest mini cactus flower ever!! Now I know he belongs to the family of cactus with really pretty flowers I have 4 more species of them!

I lifted the back petals to get a real view of the enormous size of the flower, it is even bigger than my orchids!

At night the upper petals bend over the center of the flower

Its not a cactus but a succulent from south Africa, its name is Stapelia gigantea. And nice flowers by the way!

Thanks! the names are the most difficult thing to find, even more when every single suculent plant is sold as "cactus" for 1,5$ each in all the country!!
I knew it was a suculent and so it was even more difficult to know the name!

I think my other plants are other Huernia sp.

the red flowered one maybe Huernia schneiderana

The others I really don't know who would they be.
