I got two VFTs in February this year, and decided to repot them in May as the small pots were getting overcrowded. I was worried at first, as for a few weeks they seemed a bit limp and wilted, but as you can see, they seem to have picked up a bit! I only wish I'd bought a larger pot now! :)

Thanks all. It's a crane fly that has its long legs sticking out of the trap. There's loads around this time of year, and I find them horrific, so hopefully my VFTs will reduce the numbers getting into my house! :D

This is the first time I've ever owned a VFT, so I'm hoping I can keep them alive through the coming winter...

Actually, I was shocked last week because a trap opened and it had eaten...... a fly! Usually it's spiders, beetle-type things and other winged insects, but this was the first time I'd seen a fly. I almost celebrated!
