With the limited bright sunlight here in my area (Malaysia) due to raining season, I've decided to go with a temporary solution - simple artificial lighting setup.

Setup:
1) Bulbs: 2 x 28W T5 6500k (with unknown lumen)
2) Area of my VFTs tray: 15" x 10" (consist of 20 small pots of VFTs)
3) Distance: 5" from my VFTs
4) Partially covered with aluminium foil for slightly more light reflection
5) Location: Outdoor but covered under roof
6) Photoperiod: depends on situation (will use natural sunlight when it is bright)

Is my setup fine for my VFTs? Somehow I found that it attracts more houseflies to my VFTs

Thank you.

It's actually located at the corner of my garage. So I guess it's kinda safe from rain.

My heliamphora minor does pretty good under the same lights, 2 x F28T5, and it doesn't get sun, so it should get enough lighting.

Lumen output on those is about 2,900 lumens each, so 5800 lumens for 2 of them.
