Ah well, in life we have to set our priorities. Recently I got stretched pretty thin and didn't get to the old trailer to check on the plants for a day or two longer than I usually do. Seems all of the plants did good in my absence but this forest of little capes. The grow light had sapped most of the moisture from the shallow tray and I thought all of these were dead. Looking closely I did find a small patch still hanging in there, probably around 5% of the original patch. This started out as a germination "test" but the results were awesome...it was my mistake in what I planted them in...not enough depth to retain a backup amount of moisture. I probably won't be using food trays again for sowing seeds into. :(
