math question
you add 10 militers of 70 percent water and 30 percent cholorthanil
to 4000 militers of water
how diluted is the cholorthanil now in percentages?

approximately .07% cholorthanil to water? I ....think

oh lordy I got .00075
how did you get that number rivera
it will be a blessing if that is the case
cause the spray I have is .09 cholorthanil

10ML of 70% water/30% cholorthanil would be 3ML of cholorthanil.

added to 4000ML of water you'd have 40007ML of water and 3ML of cholorthanil (4010ML total)

3ML divided by 4010 ML = 7.481296758etc decimal point 2 places over would be .07481296758etc so you'd have .07% (.07481296758etcetc% if you want it more exact.) cholorthanil in that 4010ML mixture



there might be easier/quicker way to reach that number but that is where my brain went.

This was a common core math problem on my kids homework, I am a Astro physical therapist and couldn't figure it out!

they mystery is solved i got the answer .07 from two people yay god bless
