So one of my lowland nepenthes seemed to be getting a little to much light... I had no way to raise the lights where I had them positioned in G2...
So I had to get creative and find them all a new grow space.. I read that most lowland plants need filtered lighting so my solution is in the following photos...The first photo is of my plant that showed signs of over lighting and already is recovering in the new environment. I got a small $30 mini greenhouse and put a warm mist humidifier in the bottom to run 15 minutes every 3 hours. The plants are in trays of water on capillary mats and heated seedling mats. I postioned the lights about 18-20 inches above the plants and used dollar store fake greenery to filter the light. I also put the whole greenhouse on a tray to catch the condensation that runs down the sides of this very warm and humid environment. Seems that they like their new home.
I have a Nepenthes campanulata coming this week and I pray that this will be a happy place for my new plant...
