I repotted my cephalotus about 3 months ago with peat moss and parlite.

Once the pitchers closed hard, then opened slowly.

Plants are not dying. But nothing is changed.
The pitchers are half open, never open full after repotting.



I've changed watering.
I've changed temperature to keep.
I've changed the light conditions from at the window (not direct sun) to artificial light.
Misted everyday for weeks then stopped.

But nothing works.
The pitchers are still half open.

Now temperature is 23-28 celsius.
Light is artificial for plants.



What can I do next ?
Is my cephalotus fine or not ?

It looks very healthy. It might be doing most of its growth below the soil. If anything, all the changes might have slowed it down, but as long as it keeps looking green and healthy like it is now, I would just let it do its thing.

I was too nervous for it.

Light is about $15 or so at auction (it is new but box is clashed, it is outlet) in Japan.
It works very well anyway

Looks good but be carful of watering with that mix. Cephs like vary well draining soil . Peat retains a lot of water.

O.K.
I'm using long slit pot and about 1 inch zeolite in basement.

When I watering this pot, it is drained well enough , I guess.
I always give him much water in kitchen sink. And leave it there a few minutes to drainage. To wash the soil, exchange all water and air inside.

My experience of cephalotus is only a few months. But my hobby is cultivation for years.

It looks fine this soil.
