Hey peoples. My current set up is two 23w cfl bulbs, 6 inches above my VFT's. current total out put is 3200 lumens. I have an old corallife power compact fixture with 2 67k power compact bulbs. They will be about 8 inches above the plants. I can go with one bulb at 4550 lumens or both bulbs at 9100 lumens. photo period is aprrox 14 hrs. Willl running 2 bulbs be too much light or should i run the one bulb.
Any and all suggestions are welcome
Thanx

Im not sure of the minimum requirements, but your two bulbs running definately wont be too much light.
They will do better with both on.

Light strengh has no bad effects, photoperiod can, but you having strong lights will be much better then if you had weak one's (as you may of guessed) So in short, you can't get a light that is too strong :)
