How best to Pollinate VFT ?#60769

I have 2 plants which i am going to pollinate, flowers should be out in a week or 2 and i was going to pollinate them just using a cotton bud, has anyone any better ways to do this ?

Why not give the forums a quick search?;) Lots of great info. Cotton buds are ok btw

I use a small paint brush with hair bristles (not plastic). The pollen sticks to it pretty well.

after like 2 days after pollination, should the stigma (or the fuzzy part in the middle) turn a little bit black?

Yes, it starts blackening as it loses receptivity.

You're very welcome Steviefly. One other thing I thought to note is that I use a brush with dark colored bristles. This makes it easier to see the pollen on the brush.
