I javent grown them though, so that opinion could change. Since you are new to the forums, id suggest you go with some drosera capensis to start with. They are easy to grow and they grow like weeds!

I'll have to check out what that little guy looks like. I'm not too familiar with anything by species, for now! And I think I will take you up on that suggestion. I'd like to start with seedlings and if I'm choosing one with high viability it will build my confidence. Haha. Good luck with your seeds, I'd love to see you post a growth journal!

I agree though starting with drosera is a great way to go, especially if you want to start from seed. Currently my favorite two species of sundews are filiformis and capensis. I like all things crazy and those are about the two craziest looking sundews. Cobras are my overall favorite plant with sarracenia right on their heels though.
I've been around a bit longer (about two years now), so I'm a little meaner than most. Lol.
Best of luck and happy growing!

Thanks for the warm welcome! Everyone here is so kind, although you did warn me you're one of the meanies. Lol!
I definitely have a soft spot for Cephalotus. They are so adorable. Cobras have stood out for me in regards to Sarracenia, such a striking resemblance!
I suppose I should find CP that are similar in terms of conditions since I will be growing them outdoors and would be difficult replicate varying climates.
