I've been lurking here for a while and finally decided to join. I got into carnivorous plants (again) about 6 months ago. My first attempt at growing venus flytraps was when I was around 7 years old and ended after about a month with my dog turning them into a salad (which was probably for the best as I highly doubt that 7 year old me would have been able to comprehend the complexities of caring for a venus flytrap). Anyway, 8 years later and I found myself in a hardware store looking at some cheap venus flytraps and I decided that it couldn't hurt to try. . . 6 months on and my new hobby is taking over my life! Hopefully I will be able to post pictures of my plants some time in the next few days.
