I was just wondering am I able to plant a heliamphora in this glass jar or are there other plants you guys may recommend that I can put in here I’ve been thinking so long I don’t know what I should put in it.

Also the height is 7 inches and the width is 6 inches

Most helis would get larger than that once you add soil. Also, the reduced airflow would likely lead to rot. Finally, helis like light, well draining soil. Inside the bottle they would likely get root rot. You might be able to do some sundews or pings in it.

Unless you’re using a cool artificial lighting like LED, I would say plan on scrapping the idea completely. Pretty much any plant in there, if the light source is sunlight, is probably going to overheat and die. This will be especially true for any highlight plants such as most Drosera.

Such a cool jar tho'! Definitely some considerations and good advice from folks. Might be best to treat it as an experiment and try some not-precious plants in it to see how they go and learn from there. A re-do would take some work since this isn't really a cloche, but more of a 'closed system'. But regardless (if you were willing) you could tune things in over time.

In any case, I look forward to seeing what you do with it!

This looks like a great jar for terrestrial utrics!
I can also imagine a lower light drosera like adelae or prolifera doing well without the lid.
