Is this water okay to use?

He's still pretty wet and there was no reason to water him.

Thanks! :D I couldn't decide on what photo to post. So, I posted all them.

Anyway, I just watered him. Do the traps on this type of flytrap get bright red? I'm just wondering.

My mom told me the other day, "If you talk to your plant, he might hear you." Is that really true?

Haha, I gave my plant a name and I named him: Android.

Very nice looking plant!

I'm not sure if your plant can hear you but i have read things saying that sound / music and even projected moods can effect how a plant grows, so who knows. At the very least the carbon dioxide you breath on the plant can't hurt in its development :)

I've had to limit my heavy metal as apparently my plants don't like it.

 That's funny. I'm not sure if my plant would like my taste of music either.

Did you ever lived in Montana? I had a childhood friend named Matthew. We both lived in Billings then.

Your Flytrap is off to a great start, MontanaKat. It looks happy and healthy and I'll bet it will grow very well this season.

Leah, my wife, grew up in Missoula. I met her on a plane on my way to a wedding in Hamilton (flying into Missoula). Two weeks later I moved up to Missoula and we lived there together for a year. That was one of the best years of my life to this point so I have very fond memories of Montana :)

Thanks! I'll keep updates with the plant, do you think it's a good idea to re-pot him? Should I Just wait until he gets bigger?

Wow, that's neat! :) My parents and I moved to Missoula in 1989 (I was 13 then) and then moved out in Turah.
