1) I live in NC so am i allowed to let the seeds germinate outside or something different.
2)Should the soil mix be the same as the adult VFT.
3)How long do you think it will take to germinate in NC 2 weeks to a month? :?

If you are germinating seeds, you should put them outside during the day and bring it in at night so that it stays consistently warm.
If you do that:
The soil can be the standard VFT mix, but I'd prefer to use a bit more peat moss than usual.
It depends on how long ago your seeds were harvested, but anytime from 10 days to 4 months.
