Hi All,

i recently ordered seeds from FTS, and I am debating whether or not to invest in tissue culture media for growing the seeds. It seems like seedlings in tissue culture grow to a much larger size in the same amount of time as traditionally grown plants. Does anyone have experience comparing the general growth rates between using the two types of media? I was also curious if a dormacy period is required for seedlings grown in TC media.

Thanks alot everyone! :)

If tissue culture was not faster than the traditional growing, this forum would not exist. There is a big difference.

As for the dormancy of plants, it's a good question because when we deflask we do not know the exact age of the plant.

TCing seeds is much faster than growing them traditionally. What normally takes 2 years happens in 7 months in TC.

Dormancy is not required for plants in TC.
