I am experimenting trying to germinate some Drosera seeds under a Fluorescent light that isn't that strong. Where can I find a fixture that can fit a heavy duty, higher wattage and more color temperature bulb? I don't need it for this time around but it would be good to know. Thanks!

I can't decide which cfl to put on my terrarium, I got a 5000k, 1750 lumen, daylight cfl, and a 6500k, 1600 lumen, daylight cfl. Which one is better? Should I put both?

Okay, I still don't understand why you like LED.

For those in the US Walmart has single bulb 2ft t5 fixtures w/bulb for $10. They are the linkable kind. You can connect up to 5 fixtures. I bought one and I like it a lot. The bulb is a 4200k though.

It's not that bad. Trust me, not more than a couple bucks extra.

You can get a better bulb for it at http://www.hydroponics.net/ here is the bulb I use.

I find it very good and bright, if you want to replace your current one. :)
