I live right next to a creek with moving water. Would it be okay if I used that water as well to feed my plant if rain water becomes scarce? There is some junk in it, but I thought I'd ask you guys. I've only had the plant for a few weeks. Thanks for your help.

Hello and welcome to FlytrapCare xaethiz!

In general, any water that has come in contact with the ground is going to have minerals in it and may or may not be safe to use. The only way to know for sure if any type of water is safe to use is to measure the mineral content of it with a total dissolved solids (TDS) meter. They can be purchased for $10-$15.

Without knowing the TDS measurement of the water you'd like to use, it's safest to use collected rain water or distilled water.
