Hi all.The title is the question.If i use 2 Sylvania fluorescent neon lamps,each have 18 watt ,6400 k ,1050 Lumen,daylight, it will be fine for VFT ? (dont want to use one 36 watt).And of course 18 + 18=36 (try to cover more surface with two).Thanks in advance and please tell me if is a sollution (not the quick answer ,,Get a 40 watt...").Thanks in advance.

Yes. Keep them no more than 8 inches above the plants. 4-6 would probably be ideal.

Basically as close to the plant as you can get where the air at the top of the plant isn't pushing past about 90-95 degrees, and isn't blocking your view of them.

Of course stronger fluorescents would be better, but the ones you have will support their growth. Plus they're Sylvania and 6400K, which is great. 1000 lumens is quite a bit for such little lights; nice find.

Keep us updated on how well they're doing (and remind us what lighting you're using because we'll forget).
