I'm pretty sure it is Jens. All Sarracenia are native to the southern US. Even though there are places where the climate is a bit warmer there, they still have a fairly cool to cold winter and seeds are dropped in September or October, which would mean that they need to be stratified.

If seeds are fresh, they should germinate without GA3. But soaking in GA3 will be not harmful for them ;) It also helps to make surface of seeds more available to sterylising agent. I soak in GA3 all my sarracenia's seeds.

I noticed you said something about a white flytrap? Are these a result of TC and do they revert back to normal over time? I've seen some pictures of all white flytraps but I wasn't sure if they stay permanently white as I couldn't find any information on them.

I use 400mg/dm3.

For very old seeds i double soaking time to 48h.

I don't use GA3 for temperate droseras, they germinate well without it, if the seeds are fresh.
