Hey guys,

So I'm pretty new to this, I just started my collection in August. This is my setup so far. I'm going to be switching stuff around (pots, maybe soils, etc.) If you guys have any suggestions, tips, etc., please let me know! Also, if anyone has D. Burmannii Giant Red Form in seeds or live form, please let me know! Enjoy!

Nepenthes Stenophylla (new pitcher!)

Image

Drosera Capensis (sending up a flower stalk and live New Zealand Sphagnum moss growing around it)

Image

Drosera Intermedia or Rotundfolia (It was growing around the Purple pitcher plant when I bought it)

Image

Nepenthes Stenophylla (live New Zealand Sphagnum moss growing around it)

Image

Nepenthes Stenophylla

Image

Sarracenia Purpurea (I can't believe the amount of pitchers this thing has!)

Image

Drosera Spatulata (It's sending up flower stalks like crazy. I had to trim some off because they were getting into the lights!)

Image

Venus Flytrap Typical (temporarily growing in LFS and live sphagnum. Transplanting into a mix of 5:0 peat, 3:0 silica, 2:0 perlite and a deeper pot)

Image

Venus Flytrap Typical (nice red coloration in the traps)

Image

Sarracenia Rubra (Two of the fall pitchers that have come up. In the bottom right corner you can see a 3rd coming up. 2-3 of the spring traps are starting to die off)

NOT PICTURED:

Dionaea Jaws
Dionaea Akai Ryu
D. Adelae
D. Burmannii
D. Sessilifolia

The setup consists of two 24"x12"x34"ish metal shelves placed next to each other. On top is a 4' Hydrofarm T5 HO 4 bulb light fixture. The Mylar sheets you see are emergency blankets that were attached to cardboard with spray adhesive.

MARCH 2013 UPDATE

So I've really taken a liking to this hobby. I've greatly expanded my collection. Have a look!

Note: I do realize that the nepenthes aren't doing so hot... same as my S. rubra and even my ceph. I may get rid of the Nepenthes because they take too much room and I'm really not as interested in them as I used to be. I also have trouble providing the humidity they need. If you have any tips, let me know. The reason they're on the bottom shelf is because they actually got leaf burn on the upper shelf from my lights even though they were a good distance away.
