This plant was started in vitro by Matt Miller in the winter of 2012. Approximately 20 seeds from this cross, Trichtefalle x Coquillage, were produced by a German grower Thomas Lorenz and sent to Matt who put them in vitro (tissue culture). This plant is our best selection from among the plants, and impressed us with its uniqueness and coloration. - Reviews

This one is now a favorite of mine and I couldn't be happier! The teeth are really long and some are even reddened, but a dark red, and there are a few pitfall traps too! Thank you so much for the extra babies and the kind note Matt! The leafs show the ripple tint coming too and I ordered a young plant, which came healthy again and to my surprise the traps are larger than I imagined compared to my giants. I'm really happy that I looked at all of your Venus flytraps because this one caught my eye having so many awesome characteristics!
Every single flytrap that I have ordered from here has been wonderful to grow and arrived safely all the way to the East Coast in South Carolina! Thank you so very much and Merry Christmas Matt and Leah, and have a wonderful New Year!Rate this product! - A must have

Honestly, this clone didn't catch my attention at first. It wasn't until I saw someone else's photos posted on the flytrapcare.com forums that I really noticed it. As soon as I saw the one they purchased from FTS I had to have one. This plant rocks! The cilia on it are noticeably longer than the cilia on my phalanx. Very pronounced scaling on the leaves as well. As always, the plant arrived perfectly packaged and in superior health.

As usual, Matt & Leah's awesome service! Plant was received well packaged and very healthy! I wish we had option to post pictures on these reviews so I could show you myself!
So, this particular VFT is very interestingly weird! The stems have these awesome stallings like the original TRICHTERFALLE, yet the traps look like COQUILLAGE!
The yap (young-adult-potted) I received had two large traps and several growth points! So worth it! Can't wait till this thing is in full bloom under the California sun!Rate this product!
