Sarracenia purpurea venosa is native to the southeastern US from the Florida Panhandle up through North Carolina. It is a low-growing with short, tubby pitchers 6-8 inches tall at maturity and comparatively slow-growing Sarracenia that can grow into an impressive clump of red "hairy" pitchers.
Pitchers can last up to 2 years and maintain a beautiful red coloration even throughout the winter months.
