One of my favoritesHave had this plant for 5 months and it has grown considerably since then. I have about 10 different types of fly traps and this is one of my favorites. It fills the pot well with many traps growing in a nice rosette Looks neat and orderly. Consistently red on every trap that fills out instead of just a blush on the inside of the trap. Nice looking teeth that are medium-long and also turn red.

The start of my new obsession..I recently bought one of these as my first VFT, and must say I am so pleased with my purchase!! It came quick, packaged great and in good health, along with a personalized thank you note! The colors on it are already vibrant, can't wait to see what it looks like in a few months. I think "Rex" is going to love it here in South Louisiana! :)

A wonderful plant for someone who favors red trap interiors.While a bit of a slow grower it more than makes up for it in looks. The traps grow more on the prostrate side which makes for a tidy looking plant. In my conditions the traps pretty much open with the interiors already red and the color just deepens from there. Because of the price and looks this is a great beginner plant.

Oh Yes, It's The Greatest Of The UnderratedBefore getting to the traps, what so impresses me about Fine Tooth X Red are the petioles: super thick, with an amazingly rough texture. The growth pattern is circular, more so than any among the variety of Dionaea in my collection. Depending upon growing conditions and season, trap interiors may be blood red, or exclusively green. Celia (Teeth) are every bit as tidy as FTxR's growth pattern, with nice spacing between well defined blades. A++++ Cultivar.

One of the best I've got.I've grown this one for several years and it has always out performed the rest. Steve got a good cross with this guy. It readily propogates and fills out a pot in no time. My favorite by far.
