B52 is known as the famous "World's Largest Traps" Venus Flytrap. Though it may be dethroned from this title by the newly released DC XL Venus Flytrap, it is nonetheless without question one of the most impressive Venus Flytraps that exist, developing huge wide traps, and often exhibiting striking bright red color on its trap interiors. It is truly a superior Venus Flytrap, in a class of its own.

GREATI bought one large B52's from Flytrapstore and was amazed away by the size of the traps. Vigorous growing plants ! this ts the best of all store to buy carnivorous plant.
Now I am goin to buy Insulating Polyurethane Foam Pot and more soil to transplant my B52.

HUGEWhat can I say other than what is obvious? I got a young B52 w/ 7 VERY LARGE traps(1 is dying though) easily over an inch each. I cant wait until this bad boy matures more.....he's the center piece of my collection. Got this with a 5 plant mystery box and Matt even threw in 10 baby VFT's. Best service from the best. B52 Stands out as the largest VFT, and FTS makes it look even better!I bought a young B52, and i'm amazed by the big traps it has thrown. B52 is truly the largest VFT ever, and coming from the FTS means is a plant that if young, appears like a mature B52, with extensive root system, and really healthy with strong green color!

My personal favorite FT cloneB52 is my favorite fly trap. You gotta love those BIG traps on long, tall leaves.

A favorite of mineHave ordered 2 mature plants so far. I really LOVE these LARGE traps and
now that I know how to acclimate, I expect to get more.
I like the tall and sturdy leaves and they seem to be hardy and I notice a bit
more new growth every day.
It's very important to acclimate these to sun very slowly, placing in the shade or diffused light for a week, then transfering to a windowsill for another few weeks before you introduce them to direct sun (but not really hot sun) for a few hours a day untill the roots are strong.
The outer leaves will likely dye back after potting, that's no problem.
Very easy to pot since the leaves are tall and not curved and short.

Surprised nobody's reviewed this guy!This plant is often referred to as "The world's largest venus fly trap." Mine is still young, but seeing pics the statement above can be verified. Mine is growing very vigorously, and putting out larger traps than many of my other venus fly traps! If you get a chance, pick up this somewhat rare vft! (originally posted on 5/30/11)
