B52 is known as the famous "World's Largest Traps" Venus Flytrap. Though it may be dethroned from this title by the newly released DC XL Venus Flytrap, it is nonetheless without question one of the most impressive Venus Flytraps that exist, developing huge wide traps, and often exhibiting striking bright red color on its trap interiors. It is truly a superior Venus Flytrap, in a class of its own.

B52 is a great plantI bought a B52 last November. The plant has proven to be vigorous with huge fully functional traps. I have mine on a porch railing in full sun in a 4 inch diameter ceramic pot in a saucer. It has bloomed repeatedly. The largest traps are over 1.5 inches long and nicely colored. They catch mostly small wasps.

I did not expect it to bee so largeOkay so I ordered a b-52 venus flytrap and I said to myself ( Okay its just a typical venus flytrap with larger traps big deal hey in fact it probably wont be any larger than my store bought one ), and boy I was wrong. So I bought a one year old venus flytrap and when it got here it amazed me on how big it was... AND IT WAS JUST ONE YEAR OLD THATS RIGHT and what amazed me even more it was bigger than my store bought 3 year old typical and was about the size of my akai ryu venus flytrap and it came with such nice red coloring and some traps were even puple but not as puple as my big mouth but it is still a beutiful plant. And now I know my Mat loves this varity of venus flytrap and I dont blame him. Good job Mat and his crew keep up the good work.

Wow! A real beauty!I purchased a "young" potted B52 plant, and it is a real beauty!. I've been buying and growing VFTs since the 60's, and I can tell you without reservation these are the healthiest plants I've ever purchased, bar none. What they sell as a young plant is several years older than what others call "mature".
I highly recommend this seller!

B52 = Big traps! :)I bought this Venus Flytrap cultivar as a bare root, dormant plant. It arrived in great shape and I planted it soon after receiving it. It came out of dormancy fine and so far (less than a year), it's doing very well. It's only spring, but the new traps on the B52 are already bigger than those on a 3 year old Akai Ryu.
It came with a small plantlet already growing off the rhizome and that's still doing well too. Because I keep my plants outdoors in direct, full sun, the interior of the traps are reddish. One odd thing on my B52 is that most of the trap leaves are growing from one side.
If you get a chance, I'd recommend getting this cultivar - along with it's very large traps, it seems very robust and hardy.Posted on

HUGE TRAPSI ordered one these fellows a few weeks back and boy is this sucker big. I actually decided to buy another because I thought this specific flytrap was very special and very interesting. I encourage anyone to buy one if they are available!

Best VFT evar!I got my B52s in January and here at the end of March, they are already HUGE with a nice seed stem! Sturdy and vigorous growth with an fantastic pinkish flesh color in the trap (may not be normal given that all the pics I've seen of the B52 are 100% green, but it is absolutely beautiful and the plants are very healthy).
Of course Matt and Steve have always surpassed my expectations with delivery and quality of the plants. Wonderful job guys and thank you for such commitment to the customer as well as the plant cultivars.
Now, if I could only get one of those DC XLs on my wish-list, I could have something to compare to this amazing B52 giant! ;-)

Huge traps!I got my b52 today and I'm very impressed on the size of some of the traps! The biggest trap can eat a adult cricket with some room to spare. It looks healthy and ready to be put in it's new home in a little while. Ounce again thank you for the amazing plant! :)

Worth it!I've purchased VFTs from BugBitingPlants and several other online stores. The flytraps from here are far superior. These guys do quality work and my B52 looks fantastic.

Great PlantMy plants arrived in great condition! They were among the easiest plants to pot because the leaves grow quite tall. The traps are definitely bigger on this plant than any other breed of VFT I have. A must have for any collection.
