Dentate Traps is one of the hardiest Venus Flytraps we know of, which of course makes it a most excellent Flytrap choice for those beginning the hobby. It is a very impressively sturdy upright grower, with unique and intimidating throwing-star-like "teeth," and the ability to grow nice large traps. We're pretty sure almost every collector has a Dentate Traps in their menagerie; it's a basic must-have Venus Flytrap, and a handsome one at that.

thank you matt & leah!!I'm pretty sure matt and leah picked out their cutest and most colorful dentate to send me! It has too many traps to count! It arrived the day after it said it was shipped, and was packaged in a way that there was no possibility of damage to the plant. It looks healthy and sturdy even after its 200 mile journey. I couldn't be happier with my purchase!

Love it!This was my third order with FTS and I'm a customer for life. Matt and Leah are THE BEST, not only for their plants' superb quality, but the customer service as well! I had a lot of questions as a new grower and they've gone above and beyond, even offering to help with a dying plant I got elsewhere. I ordered 1 Dentate and I got at least 2 additional babies. I'm just realizing this, but I bought 6 plants starting about 3 months ago, and it looks like I have around the 15+ plants now (judging by different growth points per plant). They've been dormant so they must have mostly come that way. All are very healthy and doing very well. I wasn't that excited about Dentate based on the pictures, but I was thrilled to see it in person. A unique, beautiful plant that really stands out. Mine even had better color than the pictures would suggest.

Best place to get your VftsJust got my plant today , I ordered a young adult Dente and came packaged perfectly, it was still dormant but no biggie , growing season is just around the corner ! Besides that my plant was healthy and potted nicely , Matt and Leah do a excellent job making sure your plants come the way they shipped them, this is not my first purchase with them and definitely not my last , i recommend buying from here there is so much to choose from ! Amazing Plants!I placed an order for this plant, along with a sawtooth. Both plants arrived BEAUTIFULLY! The pictures do not do them justice! Gorgeous color, incredibly healthy, and very well potted. You can tell Matt and Leah take an incredible amount of pride in what they do, as the plants are so happy! Absolute A+. I will only be using this store from now on!

Don't overlook this one!Dentate Traps is an amazing plant! I've had mine for years and it keeps getting better. They are very hardy. If happily grown, they get impressive sized traps and are quite the hunters! They seem to catch more flies than any of the others, even the standard Dionaea.

Under-appreciated flytrap!I've alway liked Dentate Traps, but never thought much about them over any of the others. I've had mine a few years now. As they are maturing, they are really great! It is a vigorous flytrap with good growth habit. When they are happy, they get fairly large traps also. The traps are always filled with insects, even more so than the other plants in the same container, so they are effective "catchers".
This is a great flytrap and a joy to have in the collection.Posted on

Excellent dentate, very robust dentate!I bought a Dentate a year ago as one of my first VFT's from the FTS, and i was amazed with my first vft with shorth cilia(teeth)!
The Dentate came in perfect conditions just like any other plant from Matt and Steve!
And this is a great Dionea for beginners, this Dionea will start to get you into the more complicated Dioneas! ;)Posted on
