The "A2" is the impressive attractive sibling of the very popular 'B52' Venus flytrap variety, originally named "A1" by grower Henning von Schmeling, which is well-known for its extraordinarily large traps. The traps of "A2" easily rival the 'B52' in size. In coloring, the "A2" can develop brightly red-hued trap interiors, moreso than its 'B52' sibling.

A superb plant, great color and nice trap shape.While my plants didn't come to me directly from FTS they originated there. Even on the smaller plants I have the traps are larger than average and color up very nicely. I've found this to be a vigorous grower.

Vigorous grower, very healthy upon receiptIt's been about a month since I received the two young A2's. The traps are developing great red coloring, and the traps close quickly.
I have three young B52's as well, and the A2's largest traps are about the same size as the B52's.
They put up 3 or 4 traps each in a month (great for just having received them), and following that, both put up flower stalks. Mail order plants do not come healthier than this beast.Posted on

A giant clone who is a sister of B52A2 has large traps and very nice color and is a fast and vigorous clone with very nice color and get almost as big a B52 this clone is rare and i'm glad matt and steve are making it more widely known and put it in more people hands
