10 seeds per packet. Drosophyllum lusitanicum, the Portuguese "dewy pine," a striking and unusual carnivorous plant that grows in soil and climate conditions that would kill most carnivorous plants. (More information below.)
Drosophyllum lusitanicum, sometimes called the dewy pine, is a strange carnivorous plant that grows naturally in relatively dry, alkaline soil (most carnivorous plants grow in moist, acid soil).
NOTE: Drosophyllum germination rate and time can be increased by scarifying the seed, which means exposing a small portion of the inside of the seed by gently and shallowly scratching (as with sandpaper) or cutting the tough seed coat. Be careful not to damage the inside of the seed. Additional germination instructions can be found at the International Carnivorous Plant Society website: Germination of Drosophyllum Lusitanicum Seeds
and on the FlytrapCare main site: Drosophyllum lusitanicum
