Order received.
Your order number is 0049.
I'll PM you shortly with a mailing address for your SASE.
Thank you for your order.

For Sarracenia or Dionaea seeds, I strongly suggest you use a 70 cent non-machinable stamp on your return envelope. (The inside one)
If you can't find a non-machinable stamp, I suggest a forever stamp plus a 15 cent stamp or two regular forever stamps on your return envelope.
The USPS machinery loves to crush those seeds.

Reminder to all:
Please remember return address on all envelopes.
Please remember to write your Forum username and order number somewhere on the envelope or in a note.
I don't have access to a cross reference of real-world names linked to usernames.
Remembering these things helps me fill orders quicker.
Thank you.

Happy growing,
Dean

From what I've read, Cobra Lily seeds need at least a 4 week cold stratification, some sources say 6 or even 8 weeks. I'm not anywhere close to an expert, so I recommend you do your own research.
Maybe someone with more experience with them can chime in.

I scarified my seeds and it worked pretty well. Just using a lame (or a sharp knife), gently nick the top of the seed. Seeds were stratified in the freezer, inside an insulating Styrofoam box, for 2 weeks. Germ rate ~80%.

I have been reading up on it, and everyone has different methods that work sometimes and don't others. I think depending on how many seeds are in the pack, I'm going to try different methods and see which works best for me. I'm not going to start stratification till fall so I have plenty of time.
