I just sent you a PM about the cephs!!

- in reference to the Heliamphora, I have not found any site with reasonable prices for a young plants. The cheapest i found was for $60 for a small plant from a cutting. Ebay is your best bet, you just have to snipe the plant in the last few seconds (that's how I got a hold of my little Heliamphora)

Awesome thanks matt! I really like the H. Minors, beautiful plants. I'll definitely be picking one up from you guys since it has been a while since my last FTS purchase.

So because helis are relatively stubborn growers is it tough to ship them to somewhere cold in the winter? Or can they be shipped with heat packs?

They are highland plants so the cold should not do any harm to them. I used to live in Traverse city so I know Michigan winters quite well

Haha yeah we haven't had a winter here in a long time. Not like the winters I was used to in Marquette anyway.

They're actually easier to ship in the winter than in the summer. No heat pack necessary. They can actually take freezing temperatures, but plants in transit rarely, if ever, get exposed to freezing temperatures. The only time we have had problems with plants getting damaged during shipment is when the customer isn't home to bring the plants inside when they're delivered.

Yeah that's true. I traded for some plants on here and lost only one of them. On the plus side at my new apt my mail box is indoors. Thanks for the good info guys I'll definitely be picking up a heli n ow.
