It's a little hard to tell from the low resolution photo, but it looks like it's coconut husk pith mixed with some fiber, so it should be fine so long as you carefully desalinate it with repeated soaking and draining, testing the dissolved solids in the drained water with a TDS meter after each soak. Good find. :)

Unlike peat, coconut husk you don't have to worry about fertilizer and such. Just don't buy any plant brands. If everybody uses husk now, then no more "is this peat okay?" questions.

pieguy, its more like a 3:1 coir:sand

The mix depends on your needs really you can do whatever combination you want, within reason, I can say with confidence even that you could even do more silica sand than COIR if you wanted to, but thats just me.

I dont know if thats the right stuff or not.
Matt and Steve have done the experiments with coconut husk pith and sand.

They have a thread that tells you the right stuff to buy and the proper mixture
of sand.

I use practicly the same stuff as you linked from Petco for my tarantula terrarium.
It has a lot of long fibers in it and some big chunks (well, not BIG, maybe pea sized!!).

I would read Steves posts about this subject before using it.
