I have four Venus flytraps at home, one of them seems to be doing really well, growing a bunch of leaves and such, but the other three seem to be turning black. I know that right now is about the time that these plants are supposed to be going into dormancy and turning black is a natural part of the process, but I have been noticing an odd thing that I wanted to ask about.
One of the plants (pretty sure it's a juvenile as it's not very big, and it's leaves are not at all red yet) has been drooping, and some of its traps seem half shut. Is this signaling that the plant is dying? I have been watering them a little bit once every day, and I leave them under a balcony, so that they don't get burnt by the L.A. sun.
