In the ground yes, in a pot outside... maybe but you're taking a chance. I've had filiformis and rotundifoila survive weeks of single digits and lower and come through without a hitch but they were kept in an open garage which provided protection from the wind.

our D. Tracyii, and intermedia were outdoors in small pots for winter here all last winter no worries on them they were fine and robust this year

they were covered by a heavy canvas when below freezing and uncovered when above freezing
