I was wondering if anyone could ID these mosses. I was taking a hike over in Julian, CA and thought these look like moss I see surrounding carnivorous plants. Could they be scrapped from the rocks and grow on media for propagation? Thanks.ImageImage

Send Jagasian a PM and ask him. He is the resident expert on live moss.
It's hard to tell from the picture. It might be star moss.
