i doubt that some UV paint is going to keep people from poaching. in fact, having a trap that glows in a black light actually sounds pretty cool.

i remember an old timer who was having problems with people stealing honey from his bee boxes, and what he did was scatter flour or cornstarch all around, and then put up signs saying "Danger! Poison! do not touch, if exposed see a doctor IMMEDIATELY and call poison control!"

i think that idea has a better chance of success, especially as i imagine it has no potential for a bad impact on these delicate little creatures.
