Hey everyone,

When should I take these D. madagascariensis cuttings out of the water and onto peat/perlite?

Just place them in the soil, leaving the leaf face exposed, but tucking it in under the soil surface slightly. Keep it standing in water, and bag the pot. Once it reaches a decent size, and it is clear that they have grown a good root system, you can un-bag it.

I recommend using the waterlogged sphagnum method, or peat moss works too. Water log the peat moss and place your cuttings in your desired tub, as the water evaporates, the roots from the cuttings will root themselves better. It will also provide ample moisture instead of using a plastic bag.
