So, most of my sarr flowers have dropped their petals. Does this mean that it is safe to remove the chastity belts (organza bags)?

I would think so as the petals are what keeps the plant from being self-pollinated.

Once all the flowers stop producing pollen is when it's safe to remove the chastity belts to be sure there's no longer a chance of contamination.
As to when they're considered pollinated: When a mommy flower and a daddy flower love each other very much, they give each other a very special hug, and then they're considered pollinated. The mommy part of the flower swells over the course of the next few months, and dozens to hundreds of potential babies are produced.

What, no mention of the bees' part in all of this?
